File Under: "Clean" Elections
The Center for Competitive Politics is helping shape the debate over the so-called "clean elections" pilot program in New Jersey. In the past week CCP has appeared in three newspaper articles that examine the program.
The first article highlights that despite being the "issue du jour", government-financed elections has failed to catch on nationwide. The second article examines the cloudy future of government-subsidized campaigns in New Jersey. Last, an article in today's Star-Ledger also examines government-financing programs in other states, as well as its future in New Jersey.
