Laura Renz

Government Relations & Research Director

Prior to her work at the Center for Competitive Politics, Laura worked as a Legislative Assistant in the Government Relations section of the law firm Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney.  She has also worked in the New York State Senate and interned for former Rep. Nancy Johnson of Connecticut, as well as the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation.  She received a degree in Government-Sociology from Skidmore College and also holds a master's degree in public policy from George Mason University.  Her work at CCP has included authoring numerous original research publications, as well as testifying on proposed campaign finance legislation before state legislatures.   Laura is a member of both Women in Government Relations as well as the American League of Lobbyists.
